Day of the Dead

October 31 - November 7, 2015

The colors, cuisines and culture of Mexico, during the mesmerizing season of Day of the Dead, are the perfect inspiration to swing our creative doors opens to magic and mystery.

San Miguel de Allende, a historic treasure high in the Sierra Madre mountains, is the ideal place for a writing workshop and experiencing Day of the Dead. The town stands still in time with its pastel-colored houses, centuries old churches and cobbled streets. During the holiday its homes are filled with alters and its markets are lush with flowers for offerings.

A UNESCO world heritage site ranked among the top travel destinations of the world, San Miguel offers a slow pace, fabulous food and a cultural experience not to be forgotten. In between strolling among donkeys and flower vendors, and a cemetery visit to witness a tribute to the Dead, you'll be able to breath in the tranquil atmosphere, stimulate your senses and ignite your passion for writing.
